The CARCGA Locate Rodeo is California’s inaugural competition dedicated to recognizing the skill of utility locators across the state.
This hands-on event brings together locators, damage prevention professionals, and industry partners for a day of friendly competition, education, and connection. Participants will take on challenges designed to test their ability to accurately identify and mark underground utilities while applying industry best practices in locating scenarios.
For locate professionals: Showcase your expertise on the field, compete for industry recognition, and refine your craft.

All competitors must have incident free locates from January 1 - August 30, 2026
